    The flavor compounds of the Walnut are fat. Soluble. Probably would have been a good idea to cook the milk and walnuts together to extract maximum flavor.

      Hey YuKo.. it's so good to see you again.. wow.. 2 years old girl.. lol with mommy's delicious home cook food, she must be growing healthy and happy... I can imagine some fell fermented kimchi... or.. thinly chopped perilla leaves... or.. fresh cucumber as good toppings.. also.. I ate my noodles with my radish water kimchi.. (Dongchimi, 동치미) .. and it was so good together.. hope you can try any of the suggestions.. Thank you. :)

    I don't get what liver is do you mean seaweed I don't get the difference between the liver and seaweed because I've never heard someone call it liver before

      Oops.. sorry.. it's my poor pronunciation... I meant.. "Dried Laver" .. it sounded like.. liver to you ?? 😭 There are different kinds of sea plants... (many times.. people call them all "seaweed") to distinguish them.. each one has its own name.. for example.. the seaweed for korean birthday soup.. seaweed soup.. (미역국, MiYeokGuk) is called sea mustard... and... that particular one I showed today in this video is.. called dried laver... it is used for making kimbap.. or just seasoned and roasted one.. you can eat as a side-dish with your rice.. Thanks..

      @@aeriskitchen i LOVE laver, when I am in south Korea I buy it in little packets and eat it just as a delicious snack. I live in Portugal and I don't think I have ever seen it here for sale.

      Special thanks for your 1st comment for this video... Perilla oil has its own unique nutty flavor... has little tiny bit of perilla leaves flavor..but it is different.. Yes, it is super simple but the flavor is rich compare to the simple ingredients.. so I hope you can try it someday. Thanks again.. :)

      @@aeriskitchen If I grow perilla leaves (I have done in the past) can I make my own oil from it? Or is it very complicated?

      @@planetrachel In Korea, if you have perilla seeds, you can take them to a mill and ask them to press perilla oil for you, but I'm not sure how to extract oil at home. I guess you will need a special juicer or machine for it. Thanks for your comment.
